Power control box

overview

The power control box supports both manual and automatic control methods. Can control DC 28V, 16A excitation power supply. A single box can be equipped with one zero slot control unit and six power control modules, which can achieve simultaneous control and sequential control of 24 power output states. The power control module is equipped with arc extinguishing and back electromotive force devices to reduce the impact of arcs on the circuit and damage to components during relay switching. Its specific external structure is shown in the following figure.

Power Control Box Design - Overall Design

The power control box adopts a standard 19 '' shelving chassis, with a height of 3U and an overall color of black. Install shelf mounting kits on both sides of the front panel of the chassis. Overall dimensions: length * width * height 400mm × 482mm × 133mm. Inside the device, there are zero slot control units and power control modules from left to right. The zero slot control unit is a mandatory module for equipment. Only through the zero slot control unit can various operations and controls of the power control module be achieved.

The power control module is an optional module. A total of 6 power control modules can be installed inside the device. You can choose the number of installed modules as needed. If there are spare slots in the equipment, provide blind plates for the front and rear panels.

The power control box adopts DC 24V power supply, which can achieve remote network control. The IP can be configured through upper computer software, and can achieve manual and automatic control output of 24 DC 28V, 16A power supplies. The working status and network communication status of the control box can be monitored on the front panel, and the switching module can be reset through the front panel.

Power Control Box Design - Zero Slot Control Unit

The front panel of the zero slot control unit is equipped with enable switches and indicator lights, as shown in Figure 2, to enable automatic control and indicate network communication status. Two aviation plugs are arranged on the rear panel to achieve 24 channel switching signal output. The RJ45 network port enables communication between the upper computer and the signal switching module within the zero slot control unit. The upper computer control software sends control instructions through the network port to control the signal switching module. The 2-core aviation plug is used for external power supply to the signal switching module. Simultaneously configure grounding terminals, and the overall layout of the rear panel is shown in Figure 3.

Power Control Box Design - Power Control Module

The front panel of the power control module is equipped with module output switches, automatic/manual switching switches, single channel manual control switches, and output monitoring ports. Its specific arrangement is shown in Figure 4. The installation layout and size of each component on the panel comply with the principles of ergonomics.

The back of the power control module is equipped with aviation plugs for the connection of 4-way switching signals. The 2P through wall terminal realizes the connection of the controlled power signal, which can be connected to 3mm ² Line. The 8P through wall terminal realizes the switching output of four power sources, which can be connected to 1.5mm ² Line. Install four replaceable fuses to protect the power output channel. Simultaneously arrange the module work indicator lights and grounding terminals, and the specific layout of the rear panel is shown in Figure 5.
